If you want to retire at the age of 65 comfortably, you will need at least S$2,400 per month only to cover for basic needs (with no fanciful lifestyle).
If you live until the age of 85 (average expectancy), you will need at least S$576,000. However, emergency costs (such as accident or illness) are not covered.
